Provide students with analytical tools that allow them to understand the (current) role of science, technology and innovation in the development, progress and well-being of countries and their populations
Understand the organization and functioning of scientific and technological systems, and their institutions, as areas of intervention of public policies
Know the main challenges faced by scientific and technological institutions / knowledge-producing institutions
Develop the capacity for critical reflection and analysis around the issues that arise in these areas, as well as public policies directed to these areas
Foster the ability to intervene, in a work context, in the elaboration, implementation and evaluation of policies in the area of science, technology and innovation.
